Acceptance Test-Driven Development Using the Robot Framework
Mindfire worked with a US-based home security and intelligent automation service provider to streamline its testing processes. Too much effort was required for test automation preparation, and developers spent too many hours building the test scripts for the applications that were developed for the company. Though they were using a keyword-driven framework, it took a considerable amount of work to write the actual test methods and class, courtesy of the application of object-oriented concepts.
Mindfire suggested implementing acceptance test-driven development (ATDD) using the Robot Framework, an open source test automation framework for acceptance testing.
